Annual RIMS Conference, November 26-27, 2021

Dear colleague, dear partner,

In November, we wrapped up our fully digital Annual RIMS Conference on "Transforming Rehabilitation in MS through Collective Learning: Maximising Stakeholder Engagement" with great success: more than 235 registrees and an attendancy ratio of 95 % during 2 days.

The sessions recordings will be soon available with priority access to all registrees.

RIGra 2021 - Call for applications

Deadline: Wednesday 15th December, 23:59 CET

The programme aims to facilitate collaboration between RIMS members from different centers and countries in the domain of MS rehabilitation. Both projects regarding best practice (e.g. development of guidelines or educational programs) and research are welcomed. This year, the grant amount is 10.000 €.

Fellowships 2021 - Call for applications

Deadline: Wednesday 15th December, 23:59 CET

The fellowship is available to young European professionals, preferably non-doctors, in order to facilitate their training in rehabilitation related to MS among RIMS Member Centres. This year, RIMS will support 2 fellowships, each with duration of one week, with refunding of 1000 €.

E-Learning 2022

From 2022, we will provide a platform for knowledge sharing involving RIMS/MS researchers and practitioners.

A webinar series will be developed monthly on research projects, clinical topics (e.g issues from practice)...

RiGra Study

The study sponsored by RIMS "Performance of Activities of daily living in people with multiple sclerosis" has recently been published. It was performed by several RIMS-SIG Occupation group members. The results showed that ADL performance may be affected at all MS stages calling for early ADL training.

ECTRIMS - RIMS joined Annual Conference 2022

WHO - Call for WHO Health all film festival

Call for short films is open till 30 January 2022. The film festival aims to celebrate the art of short films as means of raising awareness and promoting global health issues.

In the 2022 edition, there will be a Special Prize on Rehabilitation for films telling stories about the impact that rehabilitation has on people's lives.

WHO invites independent film-makers, production companies, public institutions, NGOs, students or film schools around the world to submit their original films about rehabilitation. This is a great opportunity for film and video innovators in the rehabilitation communty to champion and promote the importance of rehabilitation.
